Within Matter
Seven Works, Six Countries: An International Museum Collection
Within Matter is a series of seven glass image-objects, now held in the permanent collections of five international art museums.
The series explores the threshold between matter and its capacity to reveal the immaterial. Abstracted figures emerge within translucent glass, their boundaries suspended between definition and dissolution.
Neither conventional photographs nor solid sculptural bodies, their configuration brings time into the experience of space, holding the figures between a sense of presence and becoming.
The works invite an encounter with embodiment—with the body as both a physical boundary and a passage beyond itself.
