Untitled (André)

Materiality and the Unseen

Untitled (André) is a portrait triptych of the artist’s eldest child, in which abstraction becomes a poetic meditation on the ache of maternal love.

The mirrored glass surface both contains and reflects light, producing a heightened sense of liminality. Within this interplay, the bond between mother and child emerges as both subject and atmosphere.

The figure hovers between material and immaterial states—at once present and elusive, seen and unseen.
