In the Name of Love
Contemporary Glass

Human beings yearn to give expression to love and the pain of love in art. Over the centuries, literature, music, painting and sculpture have reflected those eternal endeavours. Only a few of the initiated know that glass has developed as an interesting artistic material in recent decades. Sculptures on abstract themes have replaces the more traditional bowls or vases.
On show are 30 objects created by 26 artists from around the world who work mainly with glass and mixed media.
